Hi, @Aurae! Welcome aboard. For what it's worth, I could try working on a "3G" Montague vampire for you, if you like. My Montagues are here: https://draco.thorngale.net/dump/compilation/the-count-project - and unless you tell me otherwise, once I'm next able to do vampire shenanigans, I'll try to bite with all 2Gs until an egg survives, turns and doesn't disappear on me. How does that sound?

Edit: I've seen others using your little vamps (I believe they're your sprites) in their sig for this project so I've put them in mine too, hope that's okay!

Anyone else super bummed that Vampires were the only Halloween dragon not to drop in the Halloween biome?

I saw a couple of people mention their sadness about that in the news thread, though I've got to admit I'm personally not all that bothered by it. I'm second-hand bothered, though - I'm always a bit bummed when other people are sad about something.

Thanks! They are so good I had to put them in there. Also, I think you deserve the credit!

I'll keep an eye out for that lost egg in the AP, might catch it when the low-time wall starts to clear a bit.

Also, yes, I was sad about the CB vamps not dropping. I would very much have liked to hunt one down.

I apologize for them not being the nicest lineages, but all my normal bite-fodder lines failed to produce eggs and all I can find in the AP atm are messies :/ But all three successful eggs are up for adoption, so maybe @Aurae might like one?

I would but I'm SLIGHTLY hatchling locked ATM... By which I mean totally locked. I was very fortunate with correctly-gendering ER eggs at the end of the wall.

I appear and disappear randomly, but by the Montague elders, my coven leader is cursed. Only three out of the around dozen eggs she bit survived, and two of them got repulsed. I had such big plans with her and her fledgelings but so far no luck. And I believe this one already got picked up by someone else, cursed be the option to not have the owner's username displayed on a dragon's page.

Like others have said, it would be cool to have a low "gen" vamp, and/or a vampire from a Countess.

I have several Montagues that can still test their chompers right now. Sadly my lowest "gen" would be the cursed clan leader who can't seem to keep her eggs around (she would be the third in line from the Countess, so I guess "4G"). I also got three more Countesses who can try for an egg, and 9 Counts (including one with Capulet heritage). So if anyone just joining wants an egg I could likely provide one. Just shoot me a message here or through mail.

Have bite rates always been this bad? I mean, when I first joined, it seemed like at least half of the 23 bites would've stayed on my scroll, but now the ratio atm is (Kept:Killed:Tossed) 6:12:5. So 1:2:0.8 for 23 eggs. Were the ratios always like this?

Yep! Good catch. I only check on Fridays, so I wouldn't have been conscious of this until the coming Friday.

I vaguely remembered it was around the start of the month, other than that it was pure chance that I hit it right!
